AFG Home Loans ABL has become AFG Home Loans Alpha. How does this affect me?
On 1 October 2016, AFG Home Loans ABL became AFG Home Loans Alpha.
As of this date, the new branding will be reflected on statements, letters, and internet banking for all current AFG Home Loans ABL accounts.
While the internet banking login page has a different look, there is no change to your login details or the functionality of the site.
Your lending product and its terms and conditions remain the same. We continue to provide great phone service and ongoing support to your broker. And you can of course still contact your broker with any questions you have regarding your home loan.

Where can I find my account details?
Head to online banking and select Account Details.
How can I access my funds?
You can use your Alpha Visa card or Cashcard to access funds via ATMs, eftpos, or Australia Post. Your Alpha credit card also allows contactless payments.
Fee-free transactions include eftpos, BPAY®, contactless payments, internet banking transfers, and withdrawals at Bendigo Bank or Suncorp ATMs. Use of other ATMs/ATM networks are subject to fees and charges determined by the owner of the ATM being used.
I have an offset account. How does it work?
An offset account can help you manage your day to day banking and save money on your home loan. Here’s how it works.
How often will I get a statement?
For home loans with offset accounts, line of credits or credit cards a statement is issued every month.
For all other home loan accounts, statements are issued every six months.
But why not go paper free and view your online statements via online banking. It’s as easy as changing your preferences to ‘Online Only’ in online banking.
How do I set up a direct debit for my Alpha accounts?
Call 1300 247 033 to set up or amend a direct debit.
Or send us a secure email once you’re logged in to online banking.
How can I fix the interest rate for my Alpha loan?
You can request to change to a fixed rate by emailing us at email@example.com or calling us on 1300 247 033. We will send you a ‘Fixed Rate Request Form’ and a letter to confirm your request.
You will then need to complete the form and return it to us within 14 business days.
We’ll notify you in writing once we’ve processed your request.
What are the benefits of an Alpha credit card?
The AFG Alpha Visa credit card offers a low interest rate.
It also comes with 55 days interest free and the convenience of instant transfer of funds between your Alpha accounts (and any Adelaide Bank accounts you may have).
And you can use your credit card in combination with your offset account to pay off your loan sooner. Speak to your broker about how this works.
